Rafting – Asahikawa area

The Chubetsu is about 10 minutes away from the Asakikawa Airport and only 15 minutes from the famous Asahikawa zoo. You could easily fit in a trip to the zoo and rafting with HOA on the same day. For groups with diverse travel plans, this run may be just right for you ! With non-stop wave trains, fast moving whitewater, and stunning views of the Daisetsu Mountain Range, it’s a great hit for families and groups of friends looking for a real adventure.

What to bring
  • Clothing for Rafting: Fleece, Thermal, Quick-Dry Clothes, Swimwear etc. Don’t wear cotton!

    *Summer：Rash Guard, Quick Dry T-Shirts, Shorts and Swimwear.To avoid getting sunburn or insect bites, we will recommend covering your skin with leggings or long sleeve shirts.
